The Assessment Specialist manages inquiry calls, conducts comprehensive mental health and substance abuse assessments, and determines the appropriate level of care for patients. They also handle the administrative admission process and coordinate with clinical teams to ensure patient needs are met.
Prior experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility working with adult and geriatric patients preferred. Must have strong clinical assessment skills. Qualifications and requirements: Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing Required or Master's degree in Social Work/Counseling required.
Current clinical, social work, or RN license as required by state regulations.
CPR and De-escalation certification required or obtain within 30 days of hire.
