Inova Fairfax Hospital is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiac Telemetry to join the team.
This role will be full-time; day shifts, 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. (3 -12 hour shifts; 2 weekend shifts per 6-week period).

Education: BSN or AD. If RN has an AD, within 2 years from date of hire, they must meet with their nurse leader and conduct the following: 1.) Identify which accredited school they plan to attend 2.) Provide a written plan with anticipated BSN completion date 3.) Submit a review of transcripts from the school indicating the required pre-requisites and timeline for taking the courses 4.) Complete BSN within 5 years of start date Experience: 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse, for Critical Care units, 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a critical care setting or completion of a critical care fellowship.
BLS & ACLS from American Heart Association; Licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse or an active multi-state Registered Nurse license
Experience: Prior Vascular Surgery or Cardiac Telemetry experience highly preferred.
Candidates must have a BSN or AD with a plan to obtain a BSN within 5 years, and at least 1 year of experience in a critical care setting. BLS and ACLS certifications are required, with prior vascular surgery or cardiac telemetry experience preferred.
