Overview Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long Term Care in South Burlington, Vermont.

This travel temporary assignment starts on 09/15/2026 and runs for several weeks, with 40 guaranteed hours per week.

Evening and/or overnight shifts are available.

The role is in a long-term care setting, offering a structured, on-site nursing assignment for a traveling clinician.

Weekly pay ranges from $1,864 to $1,973 per week.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting under the supervision of an RN.
  • Administer medications and document administration accurately according to care plans.
  • Monitor residents’ vital signs, health status, and respond to changes promptly.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living and support rehabilitation goals as directed.
  • Maintain thorough, compliant clinical documentation and uphold infection control and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, escalate concerns, and adjust plans as needed.

Requirements

  • Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in Vermont (or eligible to practice in Vermont for this assignment)
  • Ability to work in a long-term care setting and participate in evenings and/or overnight shifts
  • Willingness to comply with assignment requirements for travel healthcare positions
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach to resident care
