Imaging & patient care
Perform CT scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
Prepare and position patients to ensure accurate imaging and patient comfort.
Administer contrast media when appropriate, monitoring patients for reactions.
Verify patient history and ensure proper documentation prior to procedures.
Perform IV placement and administer contrast media.
Perform daily QC.
Quality & safety
Ensure all imaging meets quality standards for diagnostic accuracy.
Follow radiation safety protocols (ALARA principles) to minimize exposure.
Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and regulatory requirements.
Monitor equipment performance and report any issues promptly.
Collaboration & workflow
Work closely with radiologists, providers, and clinical staff to ensure timely imaging and reporting.
Manage patient flow efficiently while maintaining a high standard of care.
Communicate clearly with patients to explain procedures and address concerns.
Documentation & systems
Accurately document procedures in PACS, RIS, and EHR systems.
Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Required qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
ARRT certification (R) required; ARRT (CT) preferred or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe.
Active state licensure
Current BLS certification.
Experience performing CT scans in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred.
Skills & competencies
Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures and protocols.
Understanding of radiation safety and contrast administration.
Excellent patient care and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
