Role: Experienced or Licensed Veterinary TechnicianStatus: Full-timeSalary: $22.00–$28.00 per hourSchedule: Monday 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.; Tuesday through Friday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. No nights, weekends, or holiday hours. Why Our Veterinary Technicians Love It Here No nights, weekends, or holiday hours Flexible scheduling that supports a healthy work-life balance A collaborative, "better together" culture where teammates support one another Leaders who value your ideas and appreciate your expertise A welcoming workplace where you can be yourself Opportunities for continued learning and professional growth What Our Veterinary Technicians Do Triage patients and obtain thorough medical histories, vital signs, and patient assessments Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, surgeries, and dental procedures Provide compassionate nursing care from patient admission through discharge Administer medications, vaccines, treatments, and fluid therapy as directed Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, laboratory sample collection, and diagnostic testing Obtain high-quality radiographs and maintain imaging standards Monitor anesthesia and patient vital signs throughout surgical procedures Maintain accurate medical records while supporting exceptional patient care What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring Experience as a Veterinary Technician; licensed technicians are encouraged to apply Strong technical skills, including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, laboratory procedures, and anesthesia monitoring Experience assisting with surgery and providing high-quality nursing care Safe, compassionate patient handling and restraint techniques Knowledge of preventative care and vaccination protocols Excellent communication skills with clients and teammates A positive attitude, reliability, and passion for veterinary medicine The Extras You'll Actually Feel At Main Street Veterinary Hospital, we believe the best veterinary teams are built on trust, collaboration, and mutual respect.
