The Medical Assistant is responsible for preparing equipment and procedure rooms according to protocols in the Endoscopy Suite. They assist physicians and nurses during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and maintain accurate patient documentation in the EMR.

Medical Assistant - Endoscopy
Location: Amherst, MA
32 hours, 4 days/ week, generally between 8:00am-4:30pm. Hours may vary depending on department needs.
As a Medical Assistant in the Ambulatory Surgery and Procedures Center Endoscopy Suite, you will be part of our clinical team responsible for preparing equipment and procedure rooms according to established protocols and assisting the physician and RN in the implementation of the established plan of care and during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Candidates must be high school graduates with a completed Medical Assistant program or an active EMT/CNA license and CPR certification. Experience in ambulatory or endoscopy surgery and CMA/RMA certifications are preferred.
