Gardner Health Services is currently recruiting to fill a Mental Health Specialist or Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist position. This is a full-time position in the Therapeutic Behavioral Services Program in the Behavioral Health Department. Under general supervision of the Program Supervisor, the MMHS/MHRS provides assessments and related psycho social services to children, adolescents and their families. The Therapeutic Behavioral Services Program provides short-term intensive behavioral modification support to children and youth in community settings to prevent removal from school, home or another stable placement and to improve over functioning.

Requires a BA degree with up to 4 years of experience or an AA degree with 5-6 years of relevant experience. MHRS candidates must obtain a mental health rehabilitation specialist counselor certification from the County of Santa Clara.
