Provides basic nursing care to medical-surgical patients under the direction of an RN or LPN. Responsible for performing assigned tasks and identifying age-specific patient needs.

Job Specification
Minimum Education Required
A high school graduate or equivalent.
Minimum Experience Required
A minimum of 1 year experience with direct patient care preferred.
Licensure/Certification Required
Successful completion of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant Program preferred.
Must be BLS certified required (or obtain within one month of hire).

Must possess the ability to utilize the hospital computer system.
