Memorial Community Hospital & Health System (MCH), located in Blair, Nebraska, is seeking an Emergency Medicine Provider to join our team.

Position Details

Physician or Advanced Practice Provider Minimum of 2 years independent Emergency Room experience Board certified/board eligible in Emergency Medicine Licensed by the NE state medical board 12 or 24 Hour Shifts. Providers are scheduled to work 84 hours per pay period (every 2 weeks) or seven 12 hour shifts EPIC EMR Incentive/Benefits Package: Competitive compensation and benefit package Hiring/Retention Bonus (in lieu of loan repayment) Key Performance Indicator bonus annually based on goals set Paid Time Off Continuing Medical Education (CME) allowance and paid time 401(k) & Roth Retirement Plan with company match Malpractice insurance coverage paid Licensure and Certification fees covered

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive and accurate patient assessments, ensuring meticulous documentation to maintain accurate patient records. Deliver patient education and counseling, including interactions with families and caregivers, preventative healthcare, explanation of treatment side effects, and the condition’s etiology, course, and prognosis. Perform all job responsibilities professionally, representing MCH to ensure customer satisfaction and positive care outcomes for each patient. Maintain a professional, courteous demeanor when interacting with patients, staff, and other practitioners. Prioritize daily workload and adapt to meet unexpected demands. Ensure compliance with regulations, including those imposed by Medicare and other third-party payers, such as completing Medicare waivers and documenting medical necessity and indications for all ancillary and diagnostic tests ordered. Document all patient encounters thoroughly, accurately, and in a timely manner. Function as an Emergency Medicine physician within MCH Medical Staff privileges. Provide input to MCH committees involved in public health, community health, or related functions as needed. Actively participate in community education activities individually and as a member of the MCH Medical Staff.

Requirements
