About the role

Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with medication management, patient assessments, and the development of service plans in an outpatient setting. Conduct routine screenings and maintain quality documentation to ensure compliance with organizational and third-party standards.

NorthKey Community Care is seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Nurse RN to engage and assist in the care of behavioral health care clients in the outpatient setting. This position will split a schedule between two offices (Falmouth and Williamstown) Work hours are generally Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. PERKS & PAY Salary $52,104 for an RN Up to 12% annual bonus Family and team-oriented work environment Generous plan for paid time off (PTO) (Up to three weeks the first year) 10 Paid Holidays Individual and family health insurance, and other insurance plans offered. 401(k) with employer match Professional liability coverage for clinical staff Potential eligibility for Student Loan Forgiveness through the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program Company paid license fee reimbursement No weekends, evenings, holidays, and on call!

Qualifications

An active RN license in Kentucky is required. Relevant knowledge, training, and experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Psych nursing is preferred, but not required. JOB DUTIES Assist physicians and nurse practitioners in the care of patients as part of medication management as well as in the development of service plans based upon assessment data. Assist physicians and nurse practitioners conducting hospital discharge clinics for medication assessments and prescribing as indicated by patients' presenting issues. Conduct routine screenings for the need of additional therapeutic and physical health services. Provide consultation to other staff as indicated. Complete quality documentation of services provided, including service plans, progress notes, medication informed consent, treatment plan reviews, and other required information to assure compliance with organizational policies and third party compliance standards. Ensure patients are seen routinely prior to providing medication refills. Adhere to appropriate standards of care. Assist physicians and nurse practitioners in monitoring individuals on caseload for changes or decline in mental status or medical conditions. Collaborate with other staff members to promote quality patient care. Participate in interdisciplinary team communications. Handle medication orders and medications by following policies and relevant state regulations and quality standards. Ensure appropriate communication with other internal and external professionals for effective delivery of quality patient care. Requirements

An active RN license in Kentucky is required, with a preference for experience in psychiatric nursing. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills and relevant clinical training.
