About the role

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient nuclear medicine department by utilizing radioactive isotopes for enhanced diagnostic imaging. This role involves performing all required nuclear medicine procedures under the general direction of the Director of Diagnostic Imaging.

Your Role on the Team

Position Summary

Under the general direction of the Director of Diagnostic Imaging, the Nuclear Medicine Technologist is directly responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient nuclear medicine department using radioactive isotopes for enhanced diagnostic imaging. He/she is responsible for performing all nuclear medicine procedures.

Required Qualifications

Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System Registered and licensed by the American Registry of Nuclear Medicine Technology and the State of California. CPR Certification Required.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms 2 years progressively more responsible experience nuclear medicine related program/job.

Successful candidates must possess the necessary skills, knowledge, and ability for assigned duties, demonstrating appropriate customer service and excellent English communication skills.
