Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs Interpret diagnostic images and provide accurate reports to referring physicians Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care Maintain up-to-date knowledge of radiological technologies and practices Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper protocols Participate in peer review and quality assurance activities Communicate effectively with patients regarding their imaging procedures Engage in continuing education and professional development opportunities
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Completion of residency training in Radiology Board certification or eligibility in Radiology Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Proficiency in using radiological equipment and software Valid medical license to practice in the state of New York
Schedule: 8a-5p, ~1 shift per week
Duties: Performing breast biopsies in all modalities (US-guided, stereotactic, and MR-guided)
EMR: Allscripts
PACs: Carestream with Medicalis work orchestrator
Must be board-certified
