This position operates various types of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and auxiliary equipment to provide diagnostic images for interpretation by a Radiologist. This position also performs clerical and transport duties in the absence of those personnel on an as needed basis. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Licensure/ Certification: Current Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) certification required via American Registry of Radiological Technologists ARRT or equivalent. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required Current California Venipuncture certification strongly preferred.
Minimum of one-year experience in MRI procedures required.
Ability to physically lift, maneuver and/or manipulate patients and equipment. Manual dexterity to operate equipment controls and switches.
Requires ARRT MRI certification, BLS certification, and at least one year of experience in MRI procedures. California Venipuncture certification is strongly preferred.
