Position Name: Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department Location: New Hampshire Specialty: Emergency Room (ER) Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Pay Rate: $38 - $55/hour Shift: Varies (Based on department needs) Position Requirements: Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of Emergency Room (ER) experience – Required Strong knowledge of medical terminology, emergency procedures, and medical equipment Rhythm Recognition or Basic Arrhythmia experience – Required New graduate nurses are not eligible for this position Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all applicable healthcare regulations Education, License & Certification Requirements: Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) or higher from an accredited nursing program – Required Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – Preferred Active New Hampshire RN License or Compact RN License at the time of submission – Required BLS Certification (AHA) – Required ACLS Certification – Required PALS Certification – Highly Preferred CEN Certification – Highly Preferred TNCC Certification – Highly Preferred
Provide direct nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in the Emergency Department. Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop individualised treatment plans. Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments according to physician orders and established clinical protocols. Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes promptly, and communicate updates to the healthcare team. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes. Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions. Advocate for patient safety, comfort, and quality care while providing compassionate nursing support. Adhere to hospital policies, evidence-based nursing practices, and regulatory standards. Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education to maintain clinical excellence. Perform additional duties as assigned.
