Provide high-quality mobile ultrasound services at nursing homes, skilled nursing facilities, home care settings, correctional facilities, and other healthcare locations. Perform diagnostic vascular ultrasound examinations using portable ultrasound equipment. Obtain technically accurate and clinically diagnostic images for interpretation by a Radiologist. Upload and transmit completed studies electronically for physician review. Manage daily case assignments through the dispatch system while maintaining communication with dispatch throughout the workday. Verify physician orders and patient identification prior to every examination. Ensure all documentation, billing, and examination paperwork are completed accurately and submitted daily. Maintain portable ultrasound equipment and company vehicle in proper working condition. Collaborate professionally with physicians, nurses, dispatch staff, and healthcare facility personnel. Cross-train and assist with additional ultrasound procedures as needed. Maintain compliance with infection control standards, annual health requirements, and organizational policies. Participate in ongoing training and assist with mentoring other sonographers when required. Perform additional duties as assigned.
