About the role

Perform high-quality ultrasound procedures for licensed practitioners and coordinate day-to-day patient activities. Manage all associated diagnostic paperwork and accurately enter patient charges.

  • Hours of job
  • PRN
  • A mix of 8 and 12-Hour shifts 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Duties

  • And key responsibilities
  • Responsible for performing ultrasound procedures, producing high quality images for the interpretation by, or at the request of a licensed practitioner.
  • Coordinates the day-To-Day activity of patient procedures in assigned area.
  • Responsible for all required paperwork associated with the diagnostic exam.
  • Responsible for accurately entering all patient charges.

Requirements

  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Flexibility in scheduling to meet department needs.
  • Education/Certifications
  • Graduate of an accredited radiography and/Or ultrasound program
  • Advanced education may be required for specific imaging modalities.
  • Registered by the ardms or registry eligible.
  • Experience
  • Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or 12-18 months on the job training or be registered by the arrt in radiology with 12-Months experience in diagnostic medical imaging.
  • Must be educationally prepared and clinically competent to perform ultrasound studies.
