Patient Care Greet patients in a professional and courteous manner. Escort patients from the waiting area to the examination room. Verify patient identity using approved identifiers. Obtain and document, chief complaint, allergies, medications, and updates to medical, surgical, family, and social history. Prepare patients for examinations and procedures. Ensure patient comfort while maintaining privacy and confidentiality Accurately document all components of the patient visit in the electronic medical record (EMR). Document all orders, prescriptions, referrals, laboratory requests, and follow-up recommendations. Complete visit documentation promptly and accurately.
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment. Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR). Ability to maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA. Job Type: Full-time: Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Pay range starting at $20/hr Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare, medical office, or direct patient care setting or completion of a Medical Assistant training program is preferred Experience in dermatology is a plus! Experience with electronic medical records (EMR). Experience assisting with in-office procedures, specimen collection, and patient education.
