SHIFT:
Monday-Friday, 6:15am-2:45pm, rotating on call. Must live within 30 minutes of hospital. 6 days of on call/month: 3 weeknights (3:00pm-6:30am) + 1 weekend every 4-5 weekends (Friday 3:00-Monday 6:30am). 1-2 holiday/year on call. Under the supervision of a licensed perioperative RN, provides patient care in the operative setting. Provides technical services and support for patients undergoing surgical procedures including scrubbing and circulating roles. High school graduate or GED equivalent required.
Graduate of approved surgical technology course eligible for certification required.Experience:
Previous scrubbing experience preferred.License(s)/Certification(s):
Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain certification within three months from date of hire.
Certified Surgical Technologist preferred.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and graduation from an approved surgical technology course. Must maintain BLS certification and a valid driver's license, with CST certification preferred.
