The PTA will implement personalized rehabilitation programs and therapeutic exercises to help patients regain mobility and strength. They are responsible for administering physical modalities, documenting patient progress, and collaborating with Physical Therapists to adjust care plans.
Associate Degree in Science or Applied Science from an Accredited Institution. Active PTA License in the state of Indiana. Must be willing to travel to patients’ homes to provide care. Previous experience in physical therapy, rehabilitation, or other areas preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills. Ability to build rapport with in-home patients, Physical Therapist (PT) and Assisted Living Facility (ALF)/Independent Living Facility (ILF staff), as necessary. Work in a fast-paced, flexible work environment. Must be able to handle the physical workload with kindness, compassion, and empathy. Strong leadership qualities. Why Summit?
