Practice for this role

About the role

Deliver one-on-one patient care with a focus on manual therapy and aquatic therapy. Manage a gradually increasing caseload while participating in weekly mentorship and co-treats.

Benefits

Free food & snacks Free uniforms Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) 401(k) matching Bonus based on performance Company parties Competitive salary Dental insurance Just passed the NPTE — or about to? Read this before you sign with a corporate mill.

At most clinics, a new grad gets a full caseload by Friday of week one, 14 patients a day, and a "mentor" they see at the holiday party. We built Total Performance to be the opposite of that, and we have been for 15+ years across six clinics in Montgomery and Bucks County.

What your first year actually looks like here

  • You will be mentored, not managed.
  • A named mentor, weekly 1-on-1s, co-treats — a real ramp: roughly 4 patients a day your first weeks, 6–8 a day around month three.
  • Nobody hands you a full caseload in week one.
  • Nobody.
  • One-on-one patient care, manual therapy focused.
  • You treat your patient.
  • Not a clipboard, not three patients at once.
  • You will learn aquatic therapy — for real.
  • Private heated therapy pools most clinics can only talk about.
  • A skill that sets your resume apart for the rest of your career.
  • Unlimited continuing education.
  • Not a $500 stipend — unlimited.
  • Bring us the course you want.
  • Con-ed days are paid on top of your PTO.
  • We pay for your PA license, CPR, recertifications, and your malpractice insurance.
  • No weekends.
  • Ever.
  • 15 PTO days year one, 401(k) match, free uniforms, and company outings people actually show up to.

Who We Are

Total Performance Physical Therapy is the "Cheers" of physical therapy — six locally rooted clinics where staff know patients by name and Doctors of Physical Therapy deliver every treatment. 4.9–5.0 stars across 900+ Google reviews. Owner-led — our founder still treats patients and will know your name by day two.

Who we want

DPT (new grads welcome — NPTE scheduled or recently passed) eligible for PA licensure · someone who wants to be excellent at manual therapy and genuinely known by their patients · bonus points if "private heated pool" made you curious.

Total Performance Physical Therapy is an equal opportunity employer.

Requirements

Must hold a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree and be eligible for PA licensure. New graduates who have recently passed or are scheduled for the NPTE are welcome.
