OVERVIEW OF POSITION: Under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) or applicable Medical Director and with guidance from a collaborating physician, the Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant is responsible for medical care consistent with accepted professional standards.
Must adhere to the organizational Policies, Procedures, Code of Ethics, and all licensing and accreditation standards of the position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide excellent direct patient care in a comprehensive, compassionate, and team-based manner.
Assist in the coordination and/or supervision of prevention services for patients.
Provide medical evaluation and treatment of ill patients based on scientific knowledge.
Provide medical care to all patients within the expectations of the specialty hired into.
Family Practice: Primary care for all ages with a focus on prevention and disease management.
Adult Medicine: Primary care for adults (17+) with a focus on prevention and disease management.

Requires a Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies and a valid State of Michigan license. Candidates must have at least two years of experience in a primary care clinic setting and BLS certification.
