Key Responsibilities This 7/7 after‑hours hospice RN role provides autonomous, high‑impact clinical care to patients and families facing advanced illness. Deliver after‑hours hospice nursing visits, urgent care interventions, and skilled assessments Complete in‑person visits as required and assigned by Triage RN Provide pain and symptom management in accordance with hospice standards of care Educate patients and families on hospice philosophy, medications, and care expectations Document all assessments and interventions accurately and efficiently Communicate promptly with the interdisciplinary hospice team (IDT) to ensure continuity of care Participate in QAPI and quality improvement initiatives
Current Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license Hospice agency experience required Current AHA BLS certification Strong clinical assessment and independent decision‑making skills Ability to work autonomously during evening, night, and early‑morning hours Reliable, insured vehicle and valid driver’s license Interested?
