& Duties: Evaluate patient’s level of function by utilizing diagnostic and prognostic procedures Developing individual plan of care based on patient's personal goals Supervising and directing Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants with regard to patient care Creating adaptive devices for use by the patient to achieve their functional therapeutic goals
Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in occupational therapy from a university accredited by the Council of Medical Education of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association License to practice in the State of New Mexico Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, concepts and methodology required of an occupational therapist and its practice application in the treatment of hospice patients at home Excellent Communication and documentation skills Willingness to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team Valid New Mexico driver’s license and reliable, insured transportation Benefits & Allowances: Positive work environment based on collaborative teamwork Generous Compensation with additional reimbursement for travel time Exceptional patient outcomes Direct patient care without time restrictions to build patient relationships Excellent healthcare benefits 401(k)
