About the Role

Are you passionate about helping individuals on their recovery journey? As a Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)/Office Based Addiction Treatment (OBAT) Behavioral Health Clinician, you'll play a vital role in providing compassionate, evidence-based behavioral health services to adults receiving treatment for substance use disorders. Working as part of an integrated care team, you will support a caseload of patients ages 18 and older who are enrolled in our MAT/OBAT program. You'll partner with primary care providers and other interdisciplinary team members to help patients navigate recovery while addressing the behavioral, emotional, and social factors that impact their health. This role serves a diverse patient population, including individuals with complex medical conditions, polysubstance use disorders, and pregnant patients receiving treatment for opioid use disorder. What You’ll Do Provide behavioral health assessment, counseling, and ongoing support to adult patients participating in the MAT/OBAT program. Manage a caseload of patients receiving medication-assisted treatment for substance use disorders. Collaborate closely with primary care providers, nurses, care managers, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care. Develop individualized treatment plans that support recovery and promote whole-person wellness. Provide crisis intervention, motivational interviewing, relapse prevention strategies, and referrals to community resources as appropriate. Support patients with co-occurring behavioral health and chronic medical conditions using a trauma-informed, patient-centered approach. Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with organizational, state, and federal requirements. What We’re Looking For A behavioral health clinician who is passionate about supporting individuals in recovery from substance use disorders. Experience or strong interest in working with adults receiving Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) or Office Based Addiction Treatment (OBAT). Ability to build trusting therapeutic relationships with patients facing complex behavioral health, medical, and social challenges. Comfortable working with patients experiencing moderate to high clinical acuity, including individuals with polysubstance use disorders and pregnant patients receiving addiction treatment. Strong collaboration, communication, and care coordination skills with an interdisciplinary healthcare team. Commitment to providing compassionate, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed care. Schedule & Locations This is a 40 hour a week position Monday-Friday, 8 hours a day These hours include Supervision if needed, a weekly BH meeting, 30 minute lunch and Administration time. Potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens, respiratory disease, infectious diseases, and other bio-hazardous material requiring universal standard precautions for medical practitioners. Manual dexterity for needed for certain medical procedures. Organization skills, neatness; knowledge of safety and infection control standards of practice. Moderate physical activity: walking, standing, and stooping. Potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens, respiratory disease, and other infectious diseases, and other biohazardous material requiring universal standard precautions for medical practitioners. Manual dexterity needed for certain medical procedures. Clinical environment in ambulatory-based settings and home-based care.
