Job Description

Join a premier boutique outpatient clinic in San Rafael that is redefining the standard of care through a dedicated one-on-one, cash-based model. We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) who is passionate about orthopedic excellence and eager to specialize in the growing field of pelvic health. In this role, you will escape the high-volume "mill" environment and instead focus on 60-minute sessions with no double-booking, allowing you the time and clinical autonomy to truly impact patient outcomes. Our practice is built on a culture of mentorship and long-term sustainability, offering a calm, nature-inspired workspace designed for both patient healing and professional wellness. As an integral part of our clinical team, you will implement evidence-based treatment plans for diverse orthopedic conditions while transitioning into a specialized pelvic health caseload through our structured, paid training program. You will work closely with our lead Physical Therapists to provide compassionate care to both male and female pelvic health patients, educating them on movement strategies and long-term recovery. Whether you are an experienced clinician or a motivated new graduate, this position offers a clear pathway to advanced specialization, a flexible schedule that respects your work-life balance, and a supportive environment free from insurance-driven productivity quotas. Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 outpatient treatment (60-minute sessions) under PT direction. Implement individualized plans of care for orthopedic and pelvic health conditions. Gradually integrate pelvic health patients with full, paid training provided. Educate patients on recovery, movement, and wellness in a low-volume setting. Collaborate with a supportive team and maintain accurate EMR documentation.

Qualifications

Licensed or license-eligible PTA in California. Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred; new grads with an interest in pelvic health are welcome. Apply Today If you are a PTA seeking a more meaningful, patient-centered practice where you actually have time to make a difference, apply today to join our thriving team in San Rafael, California.

Market context

California respiratory care roles stay competitive

California allied-health employers often look for respiratory therapists because hospitals and acute-care settings need coverage across inpatient, emergency, and critical care units. These roles are competitive because employers usually want a CoARC-accredited graduate degree, a California Respiratory Care Practitioner license, RRT or CRT certification, and recent experience. Before applying, confirm your license and certification details match the posting; job requirements and benefits here are AI-summarized from the original job description, saving you research time.
