UT Health East Physicians, CVC Clinic is hiring a full-time Nurse Practitioner (or physician assistant) to join our inpatient cardiology team at UT Health Tyler.

About the Position

Variable schedule which may include: 4-10-hour shifts/week or 3-12-hour shifts/week,with flexibility to work 5-8-hour shifts, days,evenings, or weekends, if preferred 1 weekend call rotation every 7-8 weeks Extra shifts compensated Inpatient only Opportunity to work with 15-20 different cardiologists, and 8 advanced practice providers in the hospital

Duties

Our service area has a population of over 1.1 million. About UT Tyler School of Medicine: The University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine is the first medical school in East Texas and the seventh in The University of Texas System. Its mission is to train future healthcare professionals to embrace responsibility for the unique needs of rural and hard-to-reach communities and populations, particularly those in East Texas. The school offers a robust Graduate Medical Education program, with 20 residency and fellowship training programs, enabling graduates to gain specialized skills in areas such as family medicine, internal medicine, neurology, psychiatry, surgery, and anesthesia. Additionally, UT Tyler’s Master of Biotechnology program provides students with an interdisciplinary curriculum that emphasizes medical research and biotechnology innovation, preparing them for careers in medical research, diagnostics and therapeutic development. Requirements

Must be a qualified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Ability to work a variable schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and a call rotation every 7-8 weeks.
