Responsibilities

  • Functions as a member of the Cath Lab Team in areas related to Cardiac Catheterization procedures.
  • Provides care to a specific group of adult and geriatric patients consistent with the goals, philosophy and policies and procedures of the department and hospital.
  • Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to the age of the patient served.

  • Compensation for the role is $53.45-$60.35 hourly.

Qualifications

Minimum Education

  • Graduate of a JCERT Accredited Radiology Program or A.A.S. Cardiovascular/
  • Cardiovascular technology (CVT) degree
  • Minimum
  • Experience: One (1) to three (3) years of experience as a Cardiovascular/Interventional Radiology Technician.
  • Required
  • Certification/Registration: New York State License required, and registry A.R.R.T. desirable. R.T.C.V. preferred. Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) preferred. Current and ongoing BLS certification required until ACLS certification obtained within 3 months of hire. BLS renewal not required once ACLS is obtained.
