Perform high-quality ultrasound procedures and diagnostic sonography examinations for patients ranging from infants to geriatrics. Utilize independent judgment to differentiate between normal and pathologic findings while ensuring patient safety and equipment cleanliness.
Education and Licensure Must be registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) with one of the following. Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) Registered Musculoskeletal Sonographer (RMSKS) If not registered, be board-eligible and become registered with ARDMS within one year of hire. Maintains active registry status with ARDMS (30 CME’s every 3 yrs/annual payment) Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training is required within six (6) months of hire and every three (3) years thereafter. Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire and every two (2) years thereafter.
