The Nurse Aide is responsible for assisting patients with activities of daily living and providing technical patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses. Key duties include managing elimination, infection control, and ensuring patient safety and emergency care.

The Nurse Aide must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit.
This individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to function in an assistive role to the licensed nurse in the provision of technical and environmental patient care activities as delegated by and under the supervision of the licensed staff.

He/she is expected to adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and BLS certification. A CNA certification is preferred, and less than one year of experience is required.
