About the role

Support clinical teams with patient flow and operatory setup while shadowing licensed hygienists. Perform routine cleanings, oral health assessments, and patient education upon licensure.

Overview Dental Arts of South Jersey is looking for Dental Hygiene students and recent graduates to join our Dental Hygiene Pathway Program throughout our offices in New Jersey. This program is designed for current Dental Hygiene students and recent graduates who are preparing for boards, waiting on licensure, or looking to gain hands-on experience in a supportive clinical environment. As part of the Dental Hygiene Pathway Program, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced hygienists, doctors, office managers, and clinical teams while building confidence and preparing for a successful long-term career with Dental Care Alliance.

Responsibilities

Assist clinical teams with patient flow and operatory setup Shadow and support licensed Dental Hygienists Learn office systems, clinical protocols, and patient care standards Build relationships with patients and team members Prepare for state boards and licensure requirements Participate in training and mentorship opportunities Transition into a Dental Hygienist role after successful completion of licensure requirements

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Perform routine dental cleanings and oral health Assessments Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care Assist dentists with exams and treatments, and take dental X-rays Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with industry regulations and adhere to sterilization protocols

Qualifications

Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in dental Hygiene License: Active state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) Certifications: Local anesthesia certification and CPR/First Aid (if applicable) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort Legal Disclaimer:We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable. Requirements

Candidates must be currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited Dental Hygiene program. Must be planning to obtain licensure in New Jersey and possess strong interpersonal skills.
