Job Description: Transitions of Care Pharmacist I Part-Time I 1st Shift Hospital Pharmacy I Corbin, KY
The pharmacy department works to achieve optimal medication use and patient outcomes in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. Pharmacy is responsible for the storage, preparation (including sterile compounding), distribution, and dispensing of medications 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Pharmacy utilizes automated dispensing cabinets and barcoding to enhance patient safety and operational efficiency. Inpatient pharmacy clinical services involve pharmacists working directly with healthcare teams to optimize patient drug therapy by providing drug information and therapeutic monitoring.
Bachelor’s Degree Pharmacy. PGY-1 Residency Completion; preferred but not required. Kentucky Board of Pharmacy license in good standing as applicable to practice site. One year related work experience.
