Licenses and Certifications Registered Nurse (RN) with current Georgia license (Required) Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Crisis Response Training (CPI), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Georgia Stroke Core Curriculum (GSCC) within 180 days (Required)

Demonstrates competency in assessment, planning, treatment and evaluation of patient experiencing stroke or stroke-like symptoms. Provides appropriate stroke-related education to the patient and/or family/caregiver. Knowledgeable in stroke performance measures and how they relate to patient outcomes. Coordinates multidisciplinary care of the stroke patient. Must have a total of 4 hours of stroke related education annually.
For non-clinical areas, has attended training and demonstrates usage of age- specific customer service skills. Wears protective clothing and equipment as appropriate.
