Best Care Home Services is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide skilled nursing care for a pediatric client with developmental disorders. This role is ideal for a nurse who is patient, observant, and committed to delivering consistent, high-quality care in a home setting.

Monitor for subtle physical, behavioral, and developmental changes Recognize non-verbal cues and patterns specific to pediatric developmental disorders Identify and report early signs of complications or changes in condition Maintain constant awareness of the patient’s baseline and deviations Documentation Expectations:
Complete timely, accurate, and detailed nursing notes for every shift Clearly document assessments, interventions, and patient responses Record all changes in condition, communication with providers, and caregiver updates Ensure documentation meets state, Medicaid, and home health regulatory standards Support audit readiness and continuity of care through thorough charting
Current, active RN or LPN license in South Carolina Current CPR certification Pediatric experience required (1 year minimum) Experience with developmental disorders strongly preferred Home health or private duty nursing experience is a plus Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and documentation abilities Skills & Competencies
