CNA Rehab Full-Time, 3rd Shift BHCOR-Cor Rehab I Corbin, KY The Rehabilitation Unit is a 20-bed inpatient unit dedicated to helping patients regain independence and improve their quality-of-life following illness, injury, or surgery. The unit specializes in comprehensive rehabilitation services for patients recovering from traumatic injuries, strokes (CVAs), spinal cord injuries, amputations, and neurological conditions. Through an interdisciplinary approach, patients receive individualized treatment designed to restore function, mobility, and daily living skills. Certified professional caregiver working under the guidance and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsible for providing assigned care according to scope of practice. Has adequate knowledge to approach patients of all age groups. All employees will continually monitor and adhere to safety responsibilities and Initiatives.

Obtains and documents vital signs, weights, intake and output, specimens, and other assigned patient care activities. Assists with admissions, transfers, discharges, procedures, hourly rounding, and maintaining a safe patient environment. Delivers compassionate customer service while promoting patient dignity, safety, and quality care. Follows hospital policies, infection prevention standards, safety regulations, and performs other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or equivalent Current Kentucky Nurse Aide Certification required or successful completion of first year clinical classes in nursing school and validation of a clinical consistent with level of education. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. If not already certified, applicants must obtain BLS within 30 days of their hire date. Glucometer Training, Aegis Training, CNA Patient Deterioration training, and other required certifications must be completed within established timeframes.
