Responsibilities
- Licensed Practical Nurses work to promote health, prevent disease, and help patients cope with illness.
- They are advocates and health educators for patients, families, and communities.
- When providing direct patient care, they record symptoms, reactions, and progress; assist physicians during treatments and examinations; administer medications; and assist in convalescence and rehabilitation.
- Quality, age specific, and culturally sensitive care is provided by the Licensed Practical Nurse who implements interventions to ensure that patient/family needs are addressed including physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs.

- The compensation range for the role is $32.27- $38.07 hourly.

- Required
- Certification/Registration: Completion of accredited program for Licensed Practical Nursing. Current LPN license, ongoing and current BLS.

- Requirements: Prolonged, extensive, or considerable standing/walking. Assists with lifting and moving patients. Lifts supplies/equipment. Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching.
