The Bilingual Clinical Assistant provides quality patient care by assisting with medical appointments, documenting health histories, and performing routine clinical procedures. They are also responsible for educating clients on reproductive health and maintaining clinical supplies and HIPAA compliance.
Required Certification as a Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Medical Technician, or equivalent clinical credential. Minimum of one year of patient care experience in a healthcare environment such as a physician practice, outpatient clinic, urgent care, hospital, or women's health office. Experience obtaining vital signs and documenting patient information. Comfortable working directly with patients in a compassionate, service-oriented setting. Bilingual in English and Spanish. Preferred Associate degree in a healthcare-related field. Two or more years of clinical experience. Women's health or OB/GYN experience. Familiarity with electronic medical records, particularly eClinicalWorks. Experience with specimen collection or laboratory testing. Maintains confidentiality and exercises sound judgment. Is comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office, and EMR software.
