About the role

Provide high-quality patient care by addressing physical, psychological, and social needs in a fast-paced Med Surg environment. Collaborate with families and caregivers through mutual problem solving and the creation of a healing environment.

Registered Nurse/RN II – Med Surg Full Time Days Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Rockwall - 3150 Horizon Rd, Rockwall, TX 75032 Work hours: Full Time, 36 hours weekly, Days 7am-7pm, (3) 12-hour shifts, including every other weekend, two major and two minor holidays, no call, self-scheduling.

Here’s What You Need Nursing Diploma required or Associate’s degree in Nursing required or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred 1 year experience as registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required Med Surg experience preferred; Telemetry experience helpful Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire and BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required upon hire and maintained quarterly and CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training required within 90 days of hire and maintained annually and ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 90 days of hire A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Requires a Nursing Diploma, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Nursing and a valid Texas RN license. Candidates must have 1 year of RN experience or completion of a residency program, with BCLS required upon hire.
