Appalachian Play-Cations is looking for a compassionate, dependable Pet Care Attendant to help provide exceptional care for our furry guests every day. You'll work alongside fellow animal lovers in a fun, supportive environment where your compassion and dedication truly make a difference. What You'll Do Feed, water, exercise, and enrich dogs and cats according to individual care instructions. Clean, sanitize, and maintain kennels, cat condos, exercise yards, and common areas. Monitor pets for changes in appetite, behavior, or physical condition and report concerns promptly. Safely handle pets of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. Administer oral and topical medications as directed. Provide clean bedding, laundry services, and individualized TLC to ensure every pet feels comfortable and cared for. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout your shift. Comfort working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Strong communication skills and a dependable, team-first attitude. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts. Previous kennel, veterinary, shelter, or daycare experience is preferred, but we're happy to train the right person. Requirements
