The Phlebotomist performs daily activities within Support Services, including rotational assignments across the institution and external sites like Skilled Nursing Facilities and PreAdmission Testing. Key tasks involve venipuncture, test order entry, stock rotation, and drawing samples from nursing homes.
Performs daily activities of the Support Services Department.
Functions as a Phlebotomist fulfilling assignments on a rotational basis within the institution and external off-site coverage (I.e.
Skilled Nursing Facility, PreAdmission Testing).
Performs tasks such as Test Order Entry, Inpatient Venipuncture, OPD Venipuncture, Stock Rotation and Nursing Home draws. (If covering PAT, ability to perform EKG's is required).
Responds and interacts with patients and customers in a courteous and professional manner, embracing the concepts and ideals of Service Excellence.
