Provide comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients in Internal Medicine Collaborate closely with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop treatment plans Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment Communicate effectively with patients and their families about care options Adhere to hospital policies and legal requirements for patient care Participate in hospital committees and continuing education efforts Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree Current medical license to practice in the state Experience in Internal Medicine, particularly in a hospitalist role Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems Commitment to delivering compassionate patient care Level III Trauma Center
Schedule: 12-hour day or night shifts
Daily Volume: 17-20 patients
Patient Population: All adult and geriatric
Open ICU on site
Duties: Admissions & rounding
No procedures required
Support Staff: 3 admins on site and APPs
EMR: Meditech
Must be board-certified
BLS and DEA required
Paid travel and expenses
