About the role

Prepare patients for blood collection and perform the extraction of samples for laboratory testing. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure the sterilization of equipment and work areas.

Phlebotomist

Monday to Friday 8: 00am – 5:00pm (no weekends, nights, or major holidays)

Full-time (40/hour per week)

Pay range starts at $16 per hour with increases available after a probationary period.

Locations available: Knoxville, TN

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for blood collection and explain procedures.
  • Take blood samples from patients and transfer them to laboratories for testing.
  • Verify patient information and maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain and sterilize equipment and work areas.
  • Assist with patient care, especially for those who experience dizziness or fainting.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a phlebotomy training program or certification.
  • Comfortable working with needles and handling blood samples.
