Overview Registered Nurse, Emergency Department – Geneva, NY. This travel assignment begins 08/17/2026 for approximately 22–26 weeks (through January) with a weekly pay range of $1,359–$1,473.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct patient care in the ED, including triage, primary assessment, and continuous monitoring
  • Collaborate with the care team to identify urgent and emergent priorities; implement interventions and reassess patient progress
  • Administer medications, perform required treatments, and assist with invasive and non-invasive procedures as ordered
  • Document accurately, maintain infection prevention practices, and uphold patient safety standards
  • Educate patients and families, coordinate discharge planning, and provide post-emergency care instructions
  • Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team; support a healing environment and address pain, comfort, and safety needs

Requirements

  • Current New York RN license
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; Stroke Certification (must be AHA or RQI)
  • Two years of acute hospitalRN experience; at least one year of ED-specific experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced ED environment with day/night/holiday rotations and on-call shifts as required
