Market context

Molecular technologist roles remain specialized

In Pennsylvania, molecular technologist openings are typically driven by hospital, reference lab, and diagnostic testing demand, especially where CLIA-certified molecular workflows are in use. These roles are competitive because employers often want a biology or clinical science degree, hands-on molecular lab experience, and ASCP Molecular Certification for Level II and III candidates. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to save time, then confirm the exact CLIA experience and certification expectations before applying.
