The Medical Assistant supports the clinical team by rooming patients, taking vital signs, and performing in-house laboratory tests. They are also responsible for maintaining clinical supplies, sterilizing equipment, and handling basic clerical tasks.

Sun River Health is currently seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant to support our Sutphin location in Queens, NY.
A Medical Assistant helps patients and the clinical team at designated health center in support of medical care as directed by the nursing and medical staff and pursuant to the objectives and policies of the Center. This position performs job duties in compliance with systems and job specific standards and additional jobs or duties assigned.
Minimum Education Requirement: High School diploma/ GED with Medical Assistant Training Certificate
Preferred Education Requirement: Associate's degree with Medical Assistant Training Certificate
Minimum Related Work Experience: 0-1 year

$20.50 - $23.56 per hour
