ChildServe’s Adolescent and Young Adult Complex Medical program provides 24-7 residential skilled nursing care in a family-focused environment.
We care for adolescents and young adults who are unable to live at home due to their complex medical needs.
Schedule/Benefits 2 shifts per week, 6:00am-6:00pm, every 6th weekend PTO accrual, including 8 hours of PTO front-loaded How You’ll Make an Impact Assist with daily care routines including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility while honoring each child’s privacy and dignity.
Follow individualized care plans and collaborate with nurses and therapists to ensure each child’s unique needs are met.
Help children look and feel their best by maintaining cleanliness, comfort, and readiness for scheduled activities.
Support families by sharing updates and reinforcing care techniques that promote each child’s progress and well-being.
Accurately document care provided and maintain compliance with ChildServe policies and professional standards.
What You’ll Need Active DIA certification as a nursing assistant in the state of Iowa.
Active BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the assigned work area, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand.
Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
