As a Registered Nurse, you'll work alongside physicians and the interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you'll circulate, monitor, scrub, manage supplies, and administer procedural sedation under physician supervision while expanding your expertise in advanced cardiac care. Assesses the needs of patients and families, providing appropriate teaching and making the necessary referrals to provide continuity of care. Promptly completes documentation to assure an accurate legal record of patient’s care. Assess and chooses teaching strategies appropriate to the patient’s and their families’ age specific needs, culture, gender, readiness to learn and level of comprehension. Continues professional development and involvement in professional activities that enhance nursing practice by sharing knowledge through networking and research. Demonstrates and maintains proficiency in the manual skills and techniques required to operate specialized equipment in the Electrophysiology lab
Education: Diploma from an RN program. License(s)/Certification(s): Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state. Must apply within 90 days for licensure in secondary state. Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Must possess and maintain ACLS Maintain Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) *Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, internal equity, and other business needs. The salary range listed does not include other forms of compensation which may include bonuses/incentive, differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits that may be applicable to this role.
