Job Summary

CPSFL has an exciting opportunity for Mental Health Therapists for full-time positions.

This is a Hybrid position which offers great flexibility! In addition, most services are provided via Telehealth.

Registered Interns in the state of FL are welcome to apply!

As a Therapist with us, you will receive Clinical Supervision provided by a State Qualified Supervisor in your discipline area at NO COST to you (while costs vary, they can exceed $10,000 for the required minimum of two years supervision leading to licensure).

In addition, we take pride in our onboarding process and we offer training. It provides a solid foundation and front-loading skills for new to the field clinicians and interns. The Academy is led by metal health professionals holding D.S.W, Ph.D., and PsyD. It covers in-home services, trauma-informed care, co-occurring disorders, ACES, two-generational approach, child welfare, High Fidelity Wraparound, Traumatic Grief, stages of change, community partners, clinical documentation, engagement strategies, and more.

Qualifications

  • Qualified candidates should have a Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or Marriage & Family Therapy (or the equivalent).
  • They should be a registered intern with the State of Florida OR to be registered intern status within 90 days of position appointment.
  • Bilingual Spanish Required.
  • The candidate should also have experience working with child and families with emotional disturbances, trauma or abuse/neglect issues.
  • Therapy services are provided to children and their families via telehealth or in a preferred community location (homes, school or day care, or other safe community settings) depending upon the family's need and choice.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of children and families with psychological, behavioral and/or psychosocial issues.
  • Ability to work well as a member of a team and to be flexible.
  • Understanding of the stages of child/adolescent growth and development.
  • Demonstrate cultural competence and awareness of the socio-cultural characteristics of clients served.
  • Willingness and ability to travel locally within Palm Beach County; work a flexible schedule, which includes evenings and possibly weekends, and to work in a school and home-based environment.
  • Some knowledge of community resources.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Computer knowledge and competency.

  • DOCUMENTATION: Utilize collaborative documentation during therapy sessions and assessments with children, adolescents, and families.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Compensation: $51,000 for unlicensed and $55,000 for licensed.
