Radiologic Technologist Float Pool

Job Description

Performs technical and diagnostic imaging functions in an inpatient or outpatient setting directed by the radiologist. Provides timely and quality services to patients. Follows imaging department policies and protocols to maintain a safe, efficient, and economical environment. Interacts with patients to welcome, explain, and respond to questions and concerns during and following the procedure.

Provides care and diagnostic services to patients across multiple sites.

• Required Qualifications
• Vocational or Technical Training graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Internal candidates - 1 year of experience
• External candidates - 3 years of experience Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with two or more equipment manufacturers (Siemen’s, Philips, Fuji, Carestream) Licenses/Certifications
• Registered Technologist - The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required must be registered upon hire
• Must meet one of the BLS requirements below:
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross
• Allina in-house BLS training (within 30 days of hire) Physical Demands
• Medium Work*:
• Lifting weight up to 32 lbs. occasionally (*Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), up to 25 lbs. frequently

Pay Range

Flat Rate

$48.00 per hour

*This position is paid on a standard non-negotiable hourly rate. Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
