As a Nurse Technician, you will be a vital part of our surgical team. Someone who excels in this role will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Performing basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN
Assisting patients with getting dressed, going to the restroom, and getting to their vehicle.
Reporting abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
Assisting with cleaning stretchers, changing linens, stocking patient care areas, stocking supplies, learning sterile techniques and assisting the OR nurse and surgical tech with getting rooms ready, turning over after procedures, opening supplies in sterile fashion.
Reporting abnormal assessment and telemetry findings or changes in patient physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and BLS certification must be obtained within 60 days of employment. A CNA certification is preferred.
