Nurse Practitioner

Salary Range

$125,000/year - $160,000/year based on experience/qualifications Schedule: M-F 9-5; on-call two days a week, occasional weekend scheduling via rotation. Deliverables/Principal Results Expected: Complete history and physical assessments, evaluations, reassessments, and other clinical documentation as required. Review laboratory results, monitor blood levels, review physician orders, and support ongoing medical and medication management needs. Provide medication management services, including psychotropic medication management where applicable based on licensure and scope of practice. Diagnose and treat medical and/or psychiatric conditions in accordance with scope of practice and applicable regulations. Coordinate client care with internal and external healthcare providers, including primary care physicians, psychiatrists, specialists, pharmacies, and other treatment providers as appropriate. Support discharge planning and continuity of care efforts, including medication coordination and aftercare recommendations. Collaborate with nursing and clinical teams to support cost-effective medication management and completion of medication prior authorizations when needed. Provide education and clinical support to staff regarding medical, psychiatric, behavioral health, and medication-related concerns as appropriate. Participate in treatment team meetings, clinical review meetings, peer review processes, and departmental meetings as required. Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation in accordance with CARF standards, licensing requirements, payer requirements, and organizational policies. Must exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality with regard to all company information Completion of all required trainings as designated by the company and accreditation/licensing entities. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Active and unencumbered Family Nurse Practitioner/FNP license for state of Virginia DEA registration required or eligible to obtain if prescriptive authority applies One year of experience in a substance use disorder treatment setting Preferred: direct clinical training and work in the areas of substance use disorder treatment.
